International Christmas Market Comes to Seaboard Station!

Raleigh Sister Cities Association, a nonprofit, volunteer organization, will host its first annual International Christmas Market at the Shops at Seaboard Station, Seaboard Drive, Raleigh, on Saturday, December 12, 2009, from Noon to 6:00pm. The rain date for the event is Sunday, December 13, from Noon to 6:00pm. Proceeds will support middle and high school educational exchanges with Raleigh’s sister cities in Compiegne, France; Rostock, Germany; Hull, England; and Xiangfan, China.

The event will include tents for each sister city featuring delicacies of the regions: tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh baked goods, crepes, chocolates, and a variety of specialty gift items.

Kris Kringle, straight from Germany, will join the fun and will be available to pose for photographs. Photographers will be asked to make a donation.

The event will also include a silent auction with gifts from local shops and live stage entertainment each hour featuring local choral and dance groups.

The event is scheduled to coincide with the Historic Oakwood Candlelight Tour which is 1pm - 7pm.  Come ond down and get in the Christmas spirtit with lots of fun and goodies!

Seaboard Station Holiday OPEN HOUSE Saturday, Nov. 21st

Come on down this Saturday, November 21st!  Weather is lookin' good for the annual Raleigh Christmas Parade!  Temps in the low 60's and dry!  Watch the Parade in person, on TV or on TV here at the store!  Seaboard Station is having their annual Holiday Open House with Lee's Farmer's Market featuring the freshest produce, Live Music (12pm-4pm), FREE Hot Dogs (12pm-2pm - Tookie's), Anna's home made salsa, The Tastery Bakery home made pies, fried Turkey, Turkey Fryer give aways, FREE Gift Bags, hot chocolate . . . and lots more.  Bring a coat for "Coats for Warmth" donation!

What a great way to kick off the Holidays!
