Recycling CFL bulbs
We have been asked about recycling CFL bulbs and flourescent bulbs in general. At the moment the only resource that we are aware of for recycling CFL’s is The Home Depot or The North Wake Hazardous Waste Center off Durant Road. ACE is working on a way for each of our stores to send spent fluorescents back to our warehouse weekly for them to recycle. Right now that operation is not in place, mainly because of a viable system for protecting the bulbs during transport.
